What is the age range for the sound books?

Our sound books are perfect for ages 0-5 years old. With our sound books, children can benefit from listening to nursery rhymes, getting an introduction to reading, and enjoying bonding time with their caregivers from a very early age. Our recordable books are great for ages 3-10. Toddlers can push the button and listen to the stories, while older children can begin to read using the highlighted words to help word recognition. Are batteries included?

Yes, our sound books come with the required batteries pre-installed, so your child can start enjoying their interactive book right away. Replacement batteries can be purchased separately when needed.

Which batteries should I use for my book?

Cali’s sound books use two types of batteries: AG10 and CR2032. Be sure to check the specific battery type required for your book by looking at the battery case before purchasing replacement batteries. In this bundle collection all bookse use our CR2032 battery kit. Except for Spanish which uses our AG10 battery kit.

I’m French of Caribbean origin (Martinique to be precise!) and grew up in Paris— but I now calls Los Angeles home, where I reside with my two young children. My passion for books stems from the musical board books I found in France.  They had embedded sound buttons that babies and children push to hear songs and musical tunes. I wanted to offer the same pleasure to children in the English-speaking world.
